The Oregon Cultural Trust seeks nominations for the 2010-2012 Oregon Poet Laureate from Oregonians. Self-nominations will not be accepted. The Oregon poet laureate engages people in literacy, learning, and culture through the art of poetry. The poet laureate commits to providing a minimum of 10, and maximum of 20 public readings across the state, and participating in special cultural projects.
